Finding a tax sale mentor

Postby threesummits » Fri Nov 13, 2015 3:19 am

Hello everyone, I am new to tax sales and really want to pursue this strategy of investing. From reading some forum posts I gather there are quite a few risks when it comes to tax sales, such as buying contaminated land, adverse possession, title issues, bidding too much, buying a property that is not buildable, saleable etc.

To avoid some of these serious pitfalls I would be interested in finding a tax sale mentor or even an experienced tax sale co-investor that might be interested in going in on deals with me. I have some capital set aside for tax sales but want to make sure I go about it the proper way. How would I be able to find such a mentor?

Since I am brand-new I am not sure if there is a way to get private messages, but if there is feel free to contact me.

Thank you in advance for your responses.
